Tickets are on sale now for Polish Youngstown’s 16th Ostatki celebration.

Ostatki is a Polish version of the traditional pre-Lent Fat Tuesday celebration that precedes the 40 days of sacrifice and solemnity from Ash Wednesday until Easter.

Guests will sample Polish vodkas, beers and liquors and enjoy a Polish appetizer buffet before dinner. Entertainment will include Mazowsze performer Radek Fizek joined by accordionist Bobby Buzecan from the Chardon Polka Band.

There will be bead contests, basket raffles and games, and the festivities culminate in the presentation of the celebratory paczki, featuring a hidden surprise for one lucky winner.

Ostatki 2025: A Polish Carnival Celebration starts at 6 p.m. Feb. 28 at Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Drive, Liberty. Tickets are $85 per person and are available through Eventbrite. Proceeds benefit Polish Youngstown’s ongoing cultural activities and programming.
