The Mahoning Valley Historical Society will have its Amazing History Race on Aug. 9.

This is the 10th year for the events, where teams chase clues to find six different historic sites throughout the Mahoning Valley. The first team that finds all six sites and returns with photographic proof wins the Amazing HIstory Race 10 trophy.

Teams will gather at the Tyler History Center, 325 W. Federal St., at 5 p.m., and the race starts at 5:30 p.m. After all the teams return there will be an outdoor pizza party with soft drinks, snacks and water provided. Teams will need a smartphone or digital camera to record the race landmarks.

The cost is $8 per person and $6 for seniors ages 60 and older and students ages 5-13. Children ages 4 and under are free.
