‘Bronx Tale’ coming to Packard in October
Academy Award-nominated actor Chazz Palminteri will perform his one-man show “A Bronx Tale” at Packard Music Hall on Oct. 4.
Palminteri wrote the autobiographical play about a boy who gets involved with organized crime when he was a struggling actor in the 1980s. It was adapted into the 1993 film of the same name with Palminteri playing the mobster and Robert De Niro as the boy’s father. It also was turned into a musical that ran on Broadway in 2016-17.
Palminteri received an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor for the movie “Bullets Over Broadway,” and his film credits include “The Usual Suspects,” “Mulholland Falls” and “Analyze This.”
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $49.75 to $99.75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.
