The country duo Maddie & Tae is coming to Packard Music Hall on Sept. 28.

The pair made a splash in 2014 with “Girl in a Country Song,” which topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. They followed it up with another No. 1 hit with “Die from a Broken Heart,” which made Maddie & Tae the first and only female duo to have multiple number one singles on that chart. The new single is “Sad Girl Summer.”

Maddie Font and Tae Kerr won a CMA Award in 2015 for music video of the year for “Girl in a Country Song” and a CMT Music Award in 2022 for duo/group video of the year for “Woman You Got.”

Lauren Watkins will open. Tickets range from $29.50 to $55 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday though Ticketmaster. An online-only presale starts at 10 a.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.
