Cassie Nespor, curator of Youngstown State University’s Melnick Medical Museum, will be the next speaker for the William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society’s Memories of a Lifetime series.

Nespor, who has been curator since 2009, will speak on the museum’s collection of artifacts and on Victorian quack medicine. She has degrees in history from Dickinson College and library and information science from the University of Pittsburgh.

The program starts at 10 a.m. June 15 at Denny’s meeting room, 4020 Belmont Ave., Liberty. Admission is $10 for McGuffey members and $15 for nonmembers and includes refreshments and live entertainment. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling 330-726-8277.
