LIBERTY — Author Wendy Koile will speak May 20 for the William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society’s Memories of a Lifetime series.

Koile’s books include “Lake Erie: Murder and Mayhem,” “Disasters on the Lake Erie Islands,” “Legends and Lost Treasures of Northern Ohio” and “Geneva on the Lake.” She has master’s degrees in teaching and English from Muskingum University and is an English instructor at Central Ohio Technical College.

The program starts at 10 a.m. at the Denny’s Restaurant Meeting Room, 4020 Belmont Ave., Liberty. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members and includes refreshments and live entertainment. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling 330-726-8277.
