Ursuline High celebrates Hispanic culture
YOUNGSTOWN — Ursuline High School will have its annual Fiesta de las Americas from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the school cafeteria, 750 Wick Ave., Youngstown.
The event will include performances by the Labra Brothers, Abrepaso Flamenco, Fred Astaire Dance Studio and Ursuline students performing folkloric dances representing Colombia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Spain. Alpacas from Kester’s Krias will be on site and food will be provided by Sr. Jalapeno in Liberty.
Admission is $5, and reservations are required in advance by emailing pmontaldo@uhs.doyocs.org. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
