Robins Theatre hosts ‘Youngstown Mob Talk’

WARREN — A night of “Youngstown Mob Talk” is coming to the Robins Theatre on Feb. 9.

Johnny Chechitelli and James Naples III, hosts of the Youngstown Mob Facebook group, will explore northeast Ohio’s organized crime history along with Rick Porrello, author of “To Kill the Irishman” and “The Rise and Fall of the Cleveland Mafia,” and some of the sources heard on the podcast “Crooked City.”

The event also boasts of a “surprise wiseguy” in attendance.

The event will include a question-and-answer session and a raffle featuring signed James A. Traficant Jr. artwork.

Tickets for the 7 p.m. event range from $18 to $25, with VIP tickets for $75 that include a preshow meet-and-great, gold circle seating and a Youngstown Mob shirt.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Friday at the Robins box office and at robinstheatre.com.
