Christmas home tour planned in Salem

The Salem Federation of Women’s Clubs Christmas Tour will take play Dec. 3 and 4.

Participants will be able to tour six of Salem’s most beautiful homes — 343 Highland Ave., a colonial revival style house built in 1936-37; 700 Highland Ave., a Georgian style colonial built in 1901; 1085 Jennings Ave., a 1866 Greek revival style house; 725 S. Lincoln Ave., an Italianate built in 1880; Greenisen Farm at 1904 Depot Road; and 2005 Pearce Circle, a “McMansion” built in 1991.

The tour runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 and 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 4. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance at Salem Computer Center, Wild City Bird and Feed, Nature and Nurture and Taste of Gracious Living in Salem and at Consign and Design in Poland. Tickets will be available the day of the event at the Salem Federation of Women’s Clubs’ Smucker House, 271 S. Broadway Ave., Salem.
