Stambaugh announces a Rockapella Christmas

Rockapella will bring its Christmas show to Stambaugh Auditorium on Dec. 2.

A Rockapella Christmas features a capella arrangements of such holiday classics as “Silver Bells,” “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “White Christmas” along with Rockapella originals like “The Hope We Hold” and “Christmas Without You.”

Since its start in New York in 1986, the group has released 19 albums and did the theme song for PBS’s “Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?” The current lineup features Scott Leonard, high tenor; Jeff Thacher, vocal percussionist; Calvin Jones, tenor; Bryant Vance, bass; and Jose Rodriguez, tenor.

Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show range from $19 to $49 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office, online at stambaughauditor ium.com and by calling 330-744-0264.
