The Simply Slavic festival is seeking bakers for its Annual Slavic Baking Competition on June 11.

Amateur bakers are encouraged to show their skills by putting their favorite ethnic baked goods and recipes in front of local Slavic celebrity judges. Entries will be judged in three categories — taste (50 percent), authenticity (25 percent) and presentation (25 percent). The event also will feature a specialty tea service honoring Slavic tea ceremonies, curated by vendor Voyager Coffee and Tea.

Those interested should submit their entry form with a $5 nonrefundable entry fee and a description of 75 words or fewer.
