Concerto, aria event takes place at Grove City College
GROVE CITY, Pa. — Grove City College’s 28th Concerto / Aria Competition takes place at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Arnold Recital Hall in the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.
Top music students will compete for the opportunity to perform with the symphony orchestra in February 2022. Eleven students — three seniors, five juniors and three sophomores — will have 10 minutes to sing arias or perform concertos. Instrumentalists and singers are evaluated by a panel of independent judges with professional musical experience as performers and educators.
