YOUNGSTOWN — Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday for an upcoming production of “20th Century Blues” at Hopewell Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave.

Pat Foltz will direct Susan Miller’s play about four women who meet once per year for a ritual photo shoot, chronicling their changing (and aging) selves as they navigate love, careers, children and the complications of history. When these private photographs are threatened to go public, their relationships are tested.

Cast requirements are five women and one man. The four main female characters are in their 60s. The other roles are for the mother and son of one of the characters. The play will open Sept. 3. Those auditioning must be vaccinated for COVID-19 and should bring their vaccination card.
