Rock Hall offers educational resources

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum created an education component in conjunction with its new exhibition “The Biggest Show on Turf: 55 Years of Halftime Shows.”

It provides teachers and parents with the resources they need to help their students create, design and organize a Super Bowl halftime show of their own. Assets include:

• A teaching tips PDF;

• STEAM-friendly learning module, “Design Your Own Super Bowl Halftime Show” activity created to guide students through their own stage design;

• A highlights playlist of songs played by a variety of Halftime Show performers over the years;

• Artist spotlights on some of the greatest artists and bands to grace the Super Bowl stage;

• A Super Bowl costume design activity.

Teachers and parents can create a free account at Rock Hall EDU (rockhall.com/education) to explore and download resources developed by its education team. The site includes professionally developed lesson plans, activities and downloadable activity sheets, presentations, videos, playlists, writing prompts and more to engage students in the power of rock ‘n’ roll as they learn about history, language arts, science, math and music.

All materials meet national and state learning standards.
