MVHS program looks at Valentine’s traditions
“Tokens of Affection: Historic Valentine Greetings” will be the topic of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society’s first Bites and Bits of History online video presentation of the new year.
Jessica Trickett, MVHS collections manager, will demonstrate various greetings and traditions related to Valentine’s Day. Trickett has been with MVHS since 1998 and has a master’s degree in history and a certificate in historic preservation from Youngstown State University.
The presentation premieres at noon Jan. 21 on the MVHS YouTube Channel and is presented by the John and Loretta Hynes Foundation.
