Spooky fun that’s open in the Valley
Here are some of the haunted attractions that will be open in the area:
Fear Forest
WHERE: 6878 Tod Ave. SW, Lordstown (next to Dollar General)
HOURS: 7 to 11:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 25
HOW MUCH: $30 for the quad combo (good for admission to all four attractions). Tickets for the hayride only are $12 adults and $10 children.
WHAT’S THERE: The longtime Lordstown haunted attraction opens at a new location, where visitors can experience the Insane-A-Tarium Haunted House, Psycho Path Haunted Trail, a Haunted Hayride and the Forbidden Cornfield.
Hubbard Haunted Woods
WHERE: 1429 Brookfield Road, Hubbard
HOURS: 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31
HOW MUCH: $15 with children 5 and younger admitted free.
WHAT’S THERE: This outdoor attraction includes a haunted maze and a haunted hayride.
MANIACS IN THE WOODS
WHERE: 2619 Hoagland Blackstub Road, Bazetta
HOURS: Dusk until 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31
HOW MUCH: $7 adults and $5 children 12 and younger.
WHAT’S THERE: This all-outdoor attractions features scary scenes and characters along a haunted trail.
MAZE CRAZE CORN MAZE
WHERE: 14070 Woodworth Road, New Springfield
HOURS: 5 p.m. to midnight Fridays, 11 a.m. to midnight Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 1. Last ticket sold two hours before closing.
HOW MUCH: $10 general admission with children 4 and younger and military personnel admitted for free. Price includes all four mazes, hayride (Saturdays and Sundays only, weather permitting) and a variety of games.
WHAT’S THERE: Four mazes are carved into the corn fields at a farm measuring more than 50 acres, and the theme this year is the holiday classic “A Christmas Carol.”
NIGHTMARE AT CANFIELD SCAREGROUNDS
WHERE: Canfield Fairgrounds, 7265 Columbiana Canfield Road, Canfield
HOURS: 7 p.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays through Oct. 31 and 7 to 10 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 25 and Oct. 8
HOW MUCH: $20 general admission and $30 for a skip-the-line Fast Pass, which includes all attractions except Zombie Paintball Massacre. Tickets for the Last Haunted Hayride only are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 9 and younger, and tickets for the Zombie Paintball Massacre are $10.
WHAT’S THERE: Attractions include the Barn of Evil, Gore Reformatory, Slaughterhouse and a Haunted Circus. Zombie Paintball Massacre lets visitors “kill” zombie with paintball gun, and Monster Mania is a less scarier attraction for younger visitors.
