Fiona Nichols-Fleming Tyler Heintz

The engagement and upcoming wedding of Fiona Nichols-Fleming and Tyler Heintz, both of Providence, Rhode Island, are being announced by the couple’s parents, Jim and Diane Nichols-Fleming of Berlin, Vermont, and Jeff Heintz and Jill Jones-Heintz of Boardman.

Nichols-Fleming graduated from the University of Rochester with a bachelor’s degree in astronomy in 2019 and her doctorate in astronomy from Brown University in 2023. Nichols-Fleming is employed in research at the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C.

Heintz graduated from Westminster College in Pennsylvania in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics and in 2020 received his Master of Science in astronomy from Boston University. He is a doctoral student in astronomy at Boston University.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to be held July 2024 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
