Dr. Brent Whitehead and Abigail Baker were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held June 12, 2021, at the Columbus Zoo in Powell.

The bride is the daughter of Kirk and Lisa Baker of Canfield.

Dr. Brent Whitehead is the son of Dr. Robert and Shannon Whitehead and is originally from Dublin.

Both bride and groom attended Wittenberg University. Dr. Whitehead studied biology and the new Mrs. Whitehead graduated with a degree in communications.

Dr. Whitehead is in his first year as an orthopedic surgery resident with Mercy Health hospitals. Mrs. Whitehead is also an employee at Mercy Health, in surgery scheduling.

The couple resides in Poland.
