Ray and Sondra Cebula celebrated their 50th anniversary June 13, 2020.

Ray, a native of Campbell, and the former Sondra Herman, were married June 13, 1970, at Saint Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in New Castle. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Holiday Inn.

Ray and Sondra have three daughters, Jane (Jon) Hale of Beaver, Pa., Suzanne (Matthew) Anderson of Sharpsville, Pa., and Leslie (Eric) Barrett of Canfield. They also have six grandchildren.

Ray taught mathematics and coached sports at Wilmington Area School District, while Sondra was a speech therapist at the Midwestern Intermediate Unit. The couple are both retired and reside in New Wilmington, Pa.

They are active parishioners at the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish in Lawrence County.

Both enjoy spending as much time as possible with each grandchild and traveling to various destinations with their close-knit group of friends.
