A quiet house after a busy week
It’s a hot and humid week with the temperatures hovering close to the 100-degree mark by midday. It doesn’t cool down much at night. I’m so thankful for our fans. We have some that run by batteries and others by solar power. With the windows closed and shades down, it isn’t too bad in here. We do have a nice cool basement to sleep in if it gets unbearable. Growing up we didn’t even have fans. My dad had asthma and hay fever, and he struggled in the heat to breathe.
