DISTRICT 2 MEETS: The meeting of the Police and Fire Retiree and Widows of Ohio, District 2, Chapter 10, will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Austintown Senior Center, 112 Westchester Drive, Door 108, Austintown.

This will also be the group’s annual picnic. Bring a casserole or dessert of your choice to share. Meat, drinks and utensils will be provided.

PERI 18 TO MEET: The Public Employee Retirees (PERI) of Mahoning County, Chapter 18, will meet for a noon luncheon Aug. 5 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 Western Reserve Road. Cost is $19.

Guest speaker will be Juvenile Justice Court Judge Theresa Dellick.
