MARCH FOR JESUS: The March for Jesus Mahoning Valley will be at 10 a.m. Saturday and will begin at the former South High School, 1833 Market St., on the Youngstown’s South Side.

PRE-FATHERS DAY: Beulah Baptist Church, 570 Sherwood Ave., Youngstown, will host a Pre-Father’s Day service at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Speaker is Pastor Kevin Strickland and First Lady Ebony Strickland.

JUNETEENTH SERVICE: First Presbyterian Church of Warren and Voices of Micah Ministry will host a Juneteenth community service of celebration at 7 p.m. June 19. The service will focus on understanding the past, recognizing opportunities in the present, and building relationships in the community, Speakers are Pastor Greg Gillespie of the church, the Rev. Charles Daniels of People’s Chapel Church of God in Youngstown and Free Indeed prison ministry.

FEATURED SPEAKER: Unity Spiritual Centre Girard, 1226 Naylor-Lloyd Road, Liberty,will have Donna Corso, ordained minister, Reiki master, life coach and author as a featured speaker at the 11 a.m. service June 15. Her topic is “That Thing Called Love.”

In her most recent book, “When the Wind Chimes Chime: Ending the Greatest Fear of All,” Corso encourages readers to overcome their fear of death and embrace the full cycle of life. Since 2001, she has been the personal assistant to Neale Donald Walsch, New York Times bestselling author of the “Conversations with God” series. The public is invited to the event, and encouraged to stay for the fellowship that follows.

CHURCH TO MARK 101 YEARS: Pastor Kenneth L.Simon and the congregation of the New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St., Youngstown, will celebrate the church’s 101st anniversary at 10:30 a.m. June 22. The theme for the celebration is “Advancing the Kingdom of God, through Our Witness, The Word and Our Worship.”

GUEST SPEAKER: Unity Spiritual Centre in Liberty will have Roger Dale Juntunen lead an informal discussion on the Melchizedek Priesthood of Jesus at 6:30 p.m. June 24.

TORCH CONFERENCE: A Torch conference, with the theme “Taking our Relationship with Christ Higher,” will be 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 11 to 13 at Warren First Nazarene Church, 4179 Parkman Road. The youth enrichment program will provide classes on financial literacy and money management, character building, etiquette and basic human manners for society, and basic car maintenance. LAUGHING THROUGH LIFE: The J. Newman Levy speaker series will be 11 a.m. June 22 at the Jewish Community Center in Youngstown. Rabbi Daniel Roberts is the guest speaker. Register by June 18 at jccyoungstown.org.

DRUMS AND YUMS: The Drums and Yums event for the June 2025 summer solstice will be held 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 20. The Solstice this year occurs at 10:42 p.m. Eastern Time so participants will be drumming on the exact day of the Solstice. Weather permitting, the event will be outside with a bonfire; otherwise, inside in the foyer. The event will be facilitated by local drummer Dan Susany. Drums and percussion instruments such as rattles will be provided for those without their own instruments. Participants should bring their own drum, flute or percussion instrument if they have them.

LABYRINTH SCHEDULE: The Ursuline Sisters Mission, 4280 Shields Road, Canfield, will begin its 15th year of guided labyrinth walks. This year’s overarching theme is “Pilgrims of Hope” in honor of the Jubilee Year 2025. All people of faith are invited to participate in these free, weather-permitting events. Walks take about a half hour and are set at 6:30 p.m. June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18 and Oct. 19. Printed guides are at the labyrinth’s entrance, giving suggestions for following the path. SOJOURNER QUARTET: The Church at Warren, 3179 Hoagland Blackstub Road, Bazetta, will host the Sojourner Quartet at 11 a.m. June 22. The event is free. Reservations call 330-638-2959.

JOINING VOICES: The Joining Voices for Jesus worship service will be 2 to 4 p.m. June 21 at SEBO Stadium, 824 E. Pershing St. in Salem. Joining Voices For Jesus is a community event to proclaim and celebrate Jesus Christ and what he has done for us. This event will bring together churches, organizations and believers throughout Columbiana County and the surrounding areas. Throughout the event there will be activities such as art, prayer walks, motorcycle cruises and worship.
