Former Atlanta mayor to speak at Friday Unmute Symposium
YOUNGSTOWN — Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Atlanta mayor, will present as keynote speaker Friday at Unmute the Uncomfortable 2024.
Former Youngstown resident Barbara Fant, a poet, will also present.
Coleman Health Services in partnership with the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board is presenting Unmute the Uncomfortable.
The daylong event, which is a symposium on racial equity and mental health awareness and suicide prevention, will be held at the Eastwood Mall Event Centre.
Registration opens at 7:30 a.m., with the program scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
