An Overview of Deer Management in Ohio

When: 6:30 p.m. Oct. 28

What: Michael Tonkovich, deer program administrator from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife, will give a brief history of deer in Ohio, the process for setting management goals (increase, decrease or maintain deer population), an overview of tools used to achieve management goals, deer herd condition and disease updates and current management challenges and opportunities, followed by a question-and-answer session.
