Pressure Canner Gauge Testing
What: For safe home canning, the USDA recommends pressure canner dial gauges be tested annually for accuracy, as they can become inaccurate over time. An inaccurate gauge can lead to under- or over-processing food and potentially cause food safety issues.
When: 10 a.m. to noon Friday
