Garden Art: Holiday Containers

When: 3 p.m. Dec. 3

What: Have a 12-inch container ready with cut greens and work on your own container as Pam Baytos demonstrates how to make a beautiful holiday container with proper form and function. Be ready to take notes.

Skulls Tell it All: Ohio Mammals with speaker Stephanie Hughes

When: 11 a.m. Dec. 9

What: By studying Ohio mammal skulls we can label them either predator or prey, and tell what they eat. With this information, we can identify relationships and habitats.

Humans, Wildlife: Landscape Change, Wildlife Adaptation and Human Influence

When: 6:30 p.m. Nov. 9

What: People have changed Ohio’s landscape since the time of the earliest land surveys in the late 1700s. Wildlife was affected by these changes and some species have responded and adapted to urban (developed) areas. Learn how and why wildlife thrive, understand human influence and learn how to prevent human-wildlife conflict.
