Sound off!

This past week I made a quarterly order of household staples from Sam’s Club. So much for Dear Leader’s campaign promise to lower prices, it was the highest bill we ever had. Coffee was up over $3.00 and this was prior to Trump’s additional 25% retaliation tariff on Brazil for his perceived poor treatment of his criminal authoritarian buddy Bolsonaro. I can’t imagine what our next order will cost after all of his tariffs (Taxes) kick in! As they say, elections have consequences, sometimes bad ones! — Struthers 47 sent troops to D.C. for two purposes, 1st to divert attention ...

Trump is just testing the waters in DC

DEAR EDITOR: As Bob Dylan said, “you don’t have to be a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.” As I write this, Trump is sending troops to a second American city without a legal basis — no rioting, no natural disaster, no terrorist attack. He’s testing the waters, seeing if you’ll accept the intimidation of armed soldiers via martial law in your town too. A Republican friend said today we’re as close to civil war as in the 1860s. I suspect Fox, News Nation, and OAN are feeding that to people every day. A fait accompli, as it were. So, who would martial law ...

It really is just all about the elites

DEAR EDITOR: The focus is becoming clearer each and every day. As drip, drip, drip of information becomes more prolific and reveals the crux of the corruption of the Trump era, elites who control our country and who have been preparing for complete control over all aspects of our lives are exposed for their dark intentions. We are not talking about the “elites” spewed by the MAGA base. This is elitism through money which controls the media, government, financial, religious, elector al , judicial, military, safety institutions in the USA. Just think for a moment about Clarence ...

Victor Davis Hanson buffing Donald’s shoes

DEAR EDITOR: Victor Davis Hanson’s column, “Progress in US booms now that common-sense leader serves,” published July 30, steers clear of the most concerning particulars of our “common-sense leader.” First, the seditious J6 mob and their pardons. Mr. Hanson is scholarly enough to know that when perpetrators of crimes, especially serious crimes, are not held fully accountable, it sends a dangerous message that the consequences for attacking law enforcement are not severe, potentially emboldening others to commit similar acts of violence. Seeing someone get away with a crime can ...

Make sure you can stop your car in time

DEAR EDITOR: How many times have you heard, or possibly even said, “No, really, I can stop.” Although often applied to a vice, today we’re discussing another summer safe driving subject. Did you ever wonder how roadway speed limits are established? Several factors go into establishing a speed limit, but for the sake of this conversation, let’s address what are termed “Statutory Speed Limits.” These are speed limits that the state Legislature establishes, applies, and enforces by law. They may vary from state to state and can change due to conditions, but here’s a good rule ...

A response to the editorial on MCP deer

DEAR EDITOR: Mill Creek Park Executive Director Aaron Young is indeed nefarious and there certainly are evil motives. The count of 387 deer the first year was a blatant lie that Aaron infiltrated all of the media with. That lie was with intent, therefore being very nefarious and led by a madman. He is autocratic and will do anything he pleases. You obviously don’t really know him. The fact that he now wants to kill all of the little animals proves his lack of knowledge of our echo system. The little animals, like the opossum, keep the tick count way down and the Lyme disease. We ...
