Judge honors Valley police officers at Canfield CIty Council

CANFIELD — Mahoning County Area Court Judge Molly Johnson honored five local officers for their participation in helping with a recent school tour. “I recently had a group of 20 fourth graders from Salem visit my court and I want to thank officers for helping with those students,” Johnson said to city council members this week. Leaders hear benefits of juvenile court programs

NORTH JACKSON — Mahoning County Juvenile Court Magistrate Gina DeGenova promoted some of the court’s services at the township trustees meeting Tuesday. The programs are designed to assist at-risk youth and their families. MCDONALD — Village residents are urging council and the administration to hold public meetings on how they would prepare for a potential data center proposal, including developing a plan with clear guidelines and restrictions before a data center expresses interest in locating there.
