The Roger and Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science and Technology will host a “Noon New Year’s Eve” party and ball drop for families 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the center, 15 Central Square in Youngstown. ASSOCIATION TO MEET: The Mill Creek Chapter of ABWA (American Business Women’s Association) will host its Jan. 13 meeting at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Santa Claus continued a long-standing Liberty Schools tradition with his 15th annual visit, bringing holiday cheer to kindergarten classrooms throughout the school. Each year, Santa makes a special stop at Liberty to visit with kindergarten students and distribute presents to each child. The gifts are donated by members of the Liberty Leopard staff, ensuring that every student is included in the holiday celebration.
