FRIENDS OF FIDO: The Friends of Fido will host the 13th annual spring vendor show 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield. Friends of Fido is an advocacy group for the Mahoning County Dog Pound providing dogs with medical care and transport. For information, visit friendsoffidomahoning org.

TASTE OF LIBERTY: The annual Taste of Liberty fundraiser will take place 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Liberty High School. Tickets cost $25 and include food and beverage samples. Tickets will be sold at the door. Proceeds benefit Liberty school students and programs.

SCHOOL ART SHOWS: Roosevelt Elementary School in McDonald will host a school art show 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. Mineral Ridge High School will host a student art show 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and the drama club play “Hairspray” at the high school auditorium. Tickets for the play cost $6 for students and $10 for adults.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS: Hubbard St. Patrick Parish Health and Wellness Ministry will have a free health fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the parish center, 357 N. Main St. More than 20 health care vendors, a mammography van and dental van will be at the • event.

YOUNGSTOWN EAST OHIO WEAVERS GUILD will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday in the small meeting room in the Canfield Library. The meeting will be followed with a workshop on twilling on a small loom. ALZHEIMER SUPPORT: Alzheimer Network support group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Education Building, 250 S. Broadway Ave., Salem; on Wednesday at St. John Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown (call 330-788-9755 for time); and 10 a.m. Friday at Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St. Reservations are required at 330-788-9755.

HELPING ANIMALS: A meeting to discuss ways to improve animal welfare in the community will be 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Country Grind, 4780 state Route 305, Southington. Refreshments will be served There will be animal welfare representatives from Mahoning and Trumbull counties in attendance.
