SECOND HARVEST BUILD DAY: Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley will host the annual “Canstruction” event 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at the Eastwood Mall, with judging at noon Saturday. The event is a unique competition where teams design and build large-scale structures entirely out of canned food. After the event, all food used in the builds will be donated back to the food bank to help fight hunger across Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties. This year’s theme is aquarium.
