YOUNGSTOWN -- Two people were shot at a South Side bar on Sunday.
The Youngstown police report provides few details other than that police responded to a shooting call at a Poland Avenue bar about 3:45 a.m.
On the way to the scene, officers were told that a man had been shot in the left arm and was already en route to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for treatment.
When police arrived at the bar, they found a woman on a couch, with a gunshot wound to the left side of her neck. She also was taken to St. Elizabeth for treatment.
The report does not state the condition of either shooting victim nor does it indicate how or why the shooting may have happened.
The report does not state whether the shooting remains under investigation or whether police have any witnesses or suspects in the case.
