Bob Seemiller 1930-2020

LIBERTY — Bob Seemiller, 90, passed away early Monday morning, Monday, Nov. 30, 2020.

Bob was born in Pittsburgh, on July 14, 1930. He lived in Pennsylvania until he met and married the love of his life, Janet Becker. The two were married for 65 years before Janet’s passing in 2016.

Bob always took great pride in the fact that he was a founding member of the Liberty Schools Football Booster Club. Bob loved Indy and NASCAR racing and was a lifelong Steelers fan. He enjoyed nothing more than his swimming pool and having it filled with family and friends. If you ever met Bob, he was your friend. You couldn’t know him and not love him.

Bob worked for years at Ward Baking Co., Liberty schools, General Fireproofing and Baglier Ford, but was known mostly for owning Churchill Sohio gas station in Liberty.

Nothing was more important to Bob than his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his three children, Karen (Fred) Hickok, Cherri (Jack) Irgang and Mark (Jennie) Seemiller; six grandchildren, Adam, Steven and Katie Irgang, Kristen Oien, Andrea Wallace and Matthew Seemiller, six great-grandchildren; his sister, Patricia Malay; and niece, Nancy Fallon and family.
