Michael R. Lagese, 1932-2020

MESA, Ariz. — Michael R. Lagese, formerly of Youngstown, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, Feb. 24, 2020, with his family by his side.

After his retirement from the Youngstown Hospital Association in 1997, he and his wife, Linda, moved to Mesa and traveled the country in their motor home. During their travels, Mike and Linda would visit family and friends, making trips to Ohio during the summer to see their children and grandchildren.

Mike enjoyed playing cards, woodcarving and spending time with his beloved dogs.

He leaves behind his wife of 36 years, Linda Cooke Lagese; four stepchildren, Jeff Grace, Tracie Grace Bogdan, Amy Grace and Timothy Grace; and had five step-grandchildren, Brooke Bogdan, Madelyn Bogdan, Peyton Bogdan, Jacob Grace and Parker Grace.

There are no services planned at this time.

The family would like to express gratitude to Grace Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be sent to the Central Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimers Association.
