Edward P. Rousher 1935-2019

YOUNGSTOWN — Edward “Pete” Rousher, 83, passed away peacefully on Friday, Aug. 31, 2019.

A lifelong resident of Youngstown, he was born Dec. 23, 1935, the son of Edward and Margarite Jamison Rousher.

Pete graduated from Wilson High School in 1954. He was a master welder with the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 83 in Boardman and the owner of Pete’s Tree Service in Youngstown for many years. He was also an avid matchbook collector.

He will be dearly missed and is survived by his five children, Lorain (Randall) Booher-Archer, Sherry Rousher, Timothy (Caropline) Rousher, Thomas (Paul) Rousher and Todd (Steve) Rousher; a sister, Alice (Andy) Miglets; three loving grandchildren, Julie Novak and Callista and Caitlynn Rousher; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pete was preceded in death by brothers, Robert and Richard.

Friends and relatives may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday, Sept. 6 at Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Avenue, Boardman, followed by a noon memorial service.
