Bertolini previews YSU’s upcoming season

BEAVER TOWNSHIP — The Youngstown State baseball team will open its 70th intercollegiate season Feb. 16 when it travels to San Marcos, Texas for a three-game weekend series with the Texas State Bobcats. YSU throttles IUPUI for league win

Staff report Youngstown State put together one of its best defensive performances of the season on Thursday to cruise past IUPUI 78-50. YSU took the lead from the opening tip and never trailed in a dominant effort. IUPUI missed all 14 of its three-point attempts, and the Penguins held the Jaguars to 33.9% shooting overall.
