Milwaukee stops YSU women, 77-68

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Youngstown State women’s basketball team, pushed regular season champion Milwaukee to its limits, keeping even with the Panthers for 33 minutes, before Milwaukee broke away to get a 77-68 win over the Penguins in the quarterfinals of the Horizon League tournament.

Chelsea Olson scored a team-high 22 points Tuesday night and fifth-year senior Mary Dunn scored all of her 20 points in the first three quarters. Freshman Nneka Obiazor capped off her impressive debut season with the program scoring 13 points and snagging eight rebounds.

YSU concludes its season with a 10-8 record.
