A five-run fourth inning put the Frederick Keys ahead 7-1 Saturday night and the Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ ensuing rally fell short in a 9-7 road loss. The Scrappers play one more game today at Frederick on their road trip before returning to Eastwood Field on Tuesday for a six-game homestand.

The Scrappers (10-6) cut the lead to 7-4 with three runs in the sixth, but Frederick (1-12-2) countered with two to make it 9-4. MV scored three more in the seventh to set the final score.
