Phantoms drop pair
GREEN BAY — The Youngstown Phantoms dropped a pair of games Friday and Saturday to the Green Bay Gamblers.
The Phantoms lost Friday’s game 4-3, while dropping Saturday’s contest, 5-4.
The Gamblers scored in the final 4 minutes of both games to seal the victory.
Youngstown started fast in Saturday’s game, up 2-0, and held on to a 3-2 lead at intermission.
Green Bay scored twice in the second period to take a 4-3 lead, but the Phantoms rallied on a power play at 13:52 to tie the game at 4.
The Gamblers took an early 2-0 lead Friday, but the Phantoms tied the game at 3 with 5:11 into the third period on Brad Marek’s goal.
