Tuesday’s highlights

Softball

Mary Brant hit two home runs for the Bulldogs in a win over Jefferson. Brant finished the afternoon with 3 hits as well as catcher Camryn Lattanzio. The freshman also had five RBIs.

The South Range softball team picked up two wins Tuesday over North Bullitt (Ky.) and Madison (OH) by scores of 13-3 and 16-3. Reagan Irons had three hits in both games and Bree Kohler had two hits in both. Irons also pitched the win against North Bullitt, throwing four strikeouts.

Baseball

Jake Lawrence threw 10 strikeouts for the Fitch Falcons in a 7-0 victory over Elyria. Derek Franken and Joe Roth each had three hits. Fitch improved to 5-0 on the year.

Trey Pancake hit a home run to help South Range win 10-1 over Bullitt Central (Ky.). Michael Perry and Aidan English each had two hits. The Raiders move to 3-0 on the season.
