Hubbard graduate — and the Eagles’ defensive coordinator for the past five seaons — Sam Bellino is expected to be approved next Monday as the sixth football head coach at Lakeview High School.

Bellino will replace Tom Pavlansky who coached the Bulldogs for the past 22 seasons before taking the Poland head coaching job.

Bellino was on the Hubbard staff the past eight seasons, helping the Eagles to six playoff berths and three trips to a regional title game. He graduated from Hubbard in 2009 and from Youngstown State in 2015.
