Bernard Scott, an experienced college basketball coach including a stint at Youngstown State, has been hired as the girls basketball coach at Campbell. He also will be the boys and girls intramurals coach effective for the 2020-21 school year.

Scott has 19 years of Division I college basketball experience. Those stops, besides YSU, include Detroit Mercy, Cleveland State, Arizona, Dayton and Toledo. He was a part of a state championship team at Cleveland Villa Angela-St. Joseph and was nominated as a McDonald’s All-American while in high school. He played collegiately at Toledo.

He has been married for 16 years and has two daughters that also play basketball.
