COLUMBUS — Boardman’s 6-foot-1 senior guard Derrick Anderson led the Spartans on a historic run this season with a 22-2 record.

On Tuesday, Anderson was named to the Division I All-Ohio boys basketball second team. He led Boardman with an average of 22.2 points per game.

In Division II, three local players were named special mention — Struthers senior Carson Ryan (15 points per game), West Branch senior Reese Leone (16 points) and Chaney senior William Brown (10 points).
