SOFTBALL
Austintown Fitch 10, Louisa County (Va.) 4 — Abby Toth had a monster game for Fitch (7-0), hammering three home runs and driving in six total. Alyssa Rodgers and Lily Stevens added a hit and an RBI to keep the Falcons unbeaten.
Austintown Fitch 12, Camden (N.Y. 0 — In their second outing of the day, Fitch (8-0) remained unbeaten due to its potent offense. The Falcons had 15 hits, led by Abby Toth who had a home run, double and single along with six more RBIs. Bella Baumgart added two hits and two RBIs, and Kylie Folkwein had two hits and an RBI for the Falcons.
South Range 6, Horseheads (N.Y.) 3 — Sophia Brogan had four hits and an RBI to lead South Range. Keira Brogan and Solena DeJesus had a hit and two RBIs each for the Raiders.
Corning (N.Y.) 3, Canfield 1 — Jenna Triveri had two hits and an RBI for Canfield, who fell in a close contest. Sophia Payne added two hits and a steal for the Cardinals, and Caylee Ortiz pitched a complete game, striking out six.
BOYS VOLLEYBALL
Howland 3, Kenston 0 — Howland (8-3) continued their strong start to the season with a sweep of Kenston. Carter Jones had 14 points with three aces for the Tigers. Evan Neely totaled 12 assists, and Wesley Fee had an all-around performance with nine points, four aces, five kills and two blocks. Phillip Rullo was also a big contributor with nine digs, four kills and four assists.
