SOFTBALL
Niles 8, Struthers 7 — Julie Burke struck out 13 for Niles. Burke added a double and two RBIs on offense. Mia Myers added a pair of doubles with a single and RBI. Aerie Jones hit a home run for the Dragons.
South Range 10, Poland 1 — Gabby Spooner led South Range with three hits. Sophia Brogan, Anna Aey, Addie Wardle, Solena DeJesus and Cam Crepage added two hits each for the Raiders. Wardle drove in three runs and had a home run and Keira Brogan added a home run and two RBIs. Avery Jakubovic, Cassie Blanch, Madison Medvec and Brooklyn Kosco had a hit each for Poland.
Columbiana 10, Struthers 0 — Kyla Hogan had two hits and drove in two runs to lead Columbiana (10-3). Ella Eisenbraun had two more hits and drove in a run for the Clippers. Reagan Bell and Landry Smith had a hit and two RBIs and Natalie Barrow added a hit and RBI. Lidia Spahlinger and Cheyenne Buzzard had two hits each for Southern.
Maplewood 5, Badger 1 — Lexi Yannucci allowed just one hit and struck out 15 for Maplewood. Yannucci also had a hit and RBI. Addison Marker and Claire Urchek added two hits and an RBI each for the Rockets. Raegan Krieg also had a hit and RBI. Reghan Broadwater had a hit and RBI for Badger and Samantha Bradbury struck out six for the Braves.
Girard 17, Chaney 1 — Brooklyn Broll struck out 10 for Girard across five innings. Broll added two hits and an RBI at the plate. Gianna Saxon had three hits and two RBIs to lead Girard offensively. Caylee Wilkes added two hits and three RBIs. Gabby Doran also had a pair of hits, driving in four runs. Chloe Plant and Ava Serrano had two hits and an RBI each and Riley Collins drove in a run and had a hit for the Indians. Elizabeth Stankorb and Liberty Ross had a hit each for Chaney.
Howland 25, Warren Harding 0 — Madison Schmitz drove in seven runs on three hits for Howland. Schmitz had a home run and triple. Makenaa Perry added two hits and drove in four runs and Maya Kubancsek added a pair of hits and drove in three. Marissa Ray also contributed with two hits and two RBIs.
Cardinal Mooney 7, Southeast 1 — Lexi McKinstry struck out 13 in a complete game outing for Mooney (9-2). She also had two hits, including a home run and three RBIs. Lily Sardich led the offense with three hits and an RBI, while Julianna Ramos and Angela Bettura had two hits each for the Cardinals. Morgan Muncy had four hits for Southeast.
Mathews 12, Middlefield Cardinal 10 — Sydnie Nelson earned the win in the circle and batted in three RBIs for the Mustangs. Rilee Paddock also contributed three hits and 2 RBIs, while Molly Woodall had two hits and two RBIs and Livvie Carr had a pair of doubles and three RBIs.
BASEBALL
Maplewood 13, Badger 3 — Kenyan Clover had two hits and three RBIs to lead Maplewood. Tyson Webster added a pair of hits and RBIs and struck out six in six innings. Josh Suba and Zach Suba added two hits and an RBI each for the Rockets. Jack Harnett had a hit and two RBIs for Badger.
Southeast 5, Brookfield 3 — Richardson had two hits, including a home run and four RBIs to lead Southeast. Sharish added a pair of doubles and an RBI for the Pirates. Seven different players had a hit for Brookfield, led by Bray Coleman and Judah Dejoy with a double each.
Bristol 2, Chalker 1 — Lavern Miller struck out 10 to lead Bristol in a close contest. The Panthers scored the go ahead run in the top of the 7th inning. Kaden Garcia led the offense with three hits. Jonas Miller added two hits and Christian Van Ness had a hit and RBI for the Panthers. For Chalker, Zack Pack struck out eight. Beau Brown drove in the Wildcats’ only run of the game.
Poland 11, Niles 0 — Grady Pitzulo threw a five inning no-hitter for Poland. Pitzulo struck out 11 batters for the Bulldogs. He also had a hit and RBI at the plate. Joe Zuccaro had two hits and two RBIs and Owen Mckenzie drove in a run with a pair of hits for the Bulldogs.
Howland 12, Warren Harding 1 — Elliot Gebhardt led Howland with three RBIs and a hit. Santino Donatelli added two hits, as Howland used a seven run 2nd inning to propel them to victory. Jaron Edmonds, Mikel Williams and Scott had a hit each for Harding.

Ursuline 7, Cardinal Mooney 6 — J. Ocala struck out 11 batters in four innings for Ursuline. R. Urbach led the Irish with two hits and two RBIs on offense. D. Monroe added a hit and two RBIs and L. Stroney drove in three runs with a hit for Ursuline. Mooney attempted to come back, scoring three runs in the top of the 7th inning, but H. DeLuca closed the game out with five strikeouts in three innings. Mooney was led by Andrew Bushey with two hits and an RBI.
