REGIONAL SEMIFINAL

DIVISION IV

West Branch 45, Gilmour Academy 32 — Canton Memorial Fieldhouse, the Warriors punched their ticket to the regional final on Saturday. Stats were not reported by print deadline due to an 8 p.m. start. West Branch will face Laurel with a regional championship on the line back at Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.

Northeast 1

Lutheran East 107, Pymatuning Valley 28 — Lutheran East outscored the Lakers 27-8 in the first quarter and they didn’t look back. A 39-point second secured the win for Lutheran East. Justin Britton scored a team-high 16 points for the Lakers, and Chase Guysinger added eight. The Falcons had five players in double figures, led by Bryce Irby and Chris Hill, how finished with 23 points and 20 points, respectively.

Northeast 2

Chagrin Falls 67, South Range 59 — At Chagrin Falls, the Tigers jumped on the Raiders early, but South Range tried to come back. Chagrin Falls outscored South Range 24-11 in the first quarter, and the lead grew to 40-28 at halftime. But the Raiders trimmed the deficit to 52-50 at the start of the fourth. However, the Tigers were just too much and won the fourth quarter. South Range’s Tommy Titus led all scorers with 24 points, and Nick Toy finished with 17.

Northeast 4

Canton Central Catholic 60, LaBrae 42 — The Vikings’ season came to an end in Leavittsburg. The Vikings were down two starters, and eventually, the Crusaders pulled away. Austin Rowe led the Vikings with 21 points.
