With the state tournament done and the final postseason awards being issued, the 2026 chapter of girls basketball in the state of Ohio has come to a close.

The Division I, II and III All-Ohio girls basketball teams were released on Tuesday, and two Mahoning County players led a handful of local representatives.

Canfield senior Jenna Triveri and Chaney junior Alyssa Brown were both named to the second team in Division III.

There were also a pair of locals who got honorable mention in Division III, as Triveri’s classmate, Carly Fleming and Howland junior Maya Kubancsek both made the cut.

Austintown Fitch was the lone Mahoning Valley girl in Division II. The Falcons’ senior received honorable mention.

The all-state teams for Divisions IV-VII were released on Monday, and the first all-state teams for boys basketball will be released at a later date.
