BOYS BASKETBALL

Southeast 67, Newton Falls 61 — Cohen Richardson knocked down four 3-pointers en route to a 25 point night for Southeast. Bradley Dillon added 16 points with four 3’s and Joe Sharish added 15 points for the Pirates. Phil Davis led the way for Newton Falls with 20 points and Drayson Moore added 11 points with a pair of 3-pointers.

Hubbard 68, Niles 64 OT — Jakob Hayes led all scorers with 22 points, including four in overtime for Hubbard. Brayden Songer added 19 points and Kenyen Franklin added 17 for the Eagles. Niles, who trailed 37-23 at halftime was led by Cash Carey-Hardin with 18 points. Alex Doyle added 16 and Trey Davis added 11 for the Dragons.

Poland 67, Lakeview 51 — Carmine Tukalo led all scorers with 22 points for Poland. Maddox Purins added 11. For Lakeview, Conor Davin (11) and Isaiah Lantz (10) were the leading scorers.

Columbiana 79, Lisbon 75 — Cooper Brown and Senator Johnson scored 24 points each to lead Columbiana. The duo also made two 3-pointers each. Hunter Devanzo tallied a double-double for the Clippers with 16 points and 11 rebounds. AJ Ramgeet caught fire in the fourth quarter for Lisbon, scoring 19 of his game high 40 points in the final period. Blaine Barnes (15) and Aiden Myers (10) also had big performances for Lisbon.

Badger 59, Maplewood 55 — Tyler McWilliams scored 25 of Badger, including four 3-pointers. Jack Harnett added 13 for the Braves. Maplewood was led in scoring by Steve Manes (12) and Tyson Webster (10).

Western Reserve 64, Springfield 62 — Connor Cochran scored 26 for Western Reserve, including five 3-pointers. Josh Klasic added 12 for the Blue Devils. Issac Dyer led Springfield with 19 points and Matt Wymer added 14.

Marlington 71, Salem 51 — Cameron Evanich had 20 points to lead Marlington. The dukes also got double figure scoring from Cole Jones (19) and Carter Frank (13). Salem was led by Ty Manion (18 points) and Deontay Steele (16).

Canfield 67, Howland 44 — Joseph Gabriel scored 15 points and Jace Ricardo had 14 for Canfield. Steven Bubon (12 points) and Ta-Shawn Fambro (11) led Howland in scoring.

Grand Valley 72, Pymatuning Valley 64 — Carter Turk scored 24 for Grand Valley to lead all scorers. Solomon Schultz added 18 points and Anthony Eason had 10. For Pymatuning Valley, four players scored in double figures led by Justin Britton with 22 points. William Baugher (14), Noah Dubic (13), and Trent Harvey (10) also reached double figures for the Lakers.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Western Reserve 69, Springfield 48 — Kylee Ramsey scored 18 points to lead Western Reserve (18-1). With the win Western Reserve captured the MVAC conference championship. Chloeigh Endsley (13) and Quincy Miller (11) also reached double figures for the Blue Devils. Makenna Wymer had 17 points, including five 3-pointers for Springfield. Regan Rosenski added 13 for the Tigers.
