BOYS BASKETBALL

Boardman 71, Warren JFK 63 — Jerry Smith scored 41 points, the third highest individual point total in Boardman boys basketball history. Braiden Buckley added 11 points for the Spartans, and Jayse Varley and Vince Butto each finished with seven. Henry Phillips scored 18 points for the Eagles.

Crestview 70, Champion 60 — Grant Gerner led Crestview’s 27 point first quarter with eight points. Gerner finished with 27 points of his own for the Rebels. Tyler Savage added 14 points in the fast paced contest. Champion was led by Braylen Braham with 24 points and Marky Nolan with 18.

Poland 52, South Range 46 — Carmine Tukalo scored 12 of his game high 26 points in the fourth quarter to lead Poland to a come from behind win after trailing 37-35 after three quarters. Anthony Delluomo added 12 for the Bulldogs. Tommy Titus scored 20 to lead South Range, while Nick Toy added 15 points for the Raiders.

Columbiana 68, Southern 43 — Cooper Brown recorded a triple double, totaling 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists for Columbiana. Senator Johnson led the Clippers in scoring with 25 points. Hunter Devanzo (11 points) and Carter Johnson (10) were also in double figures. Southern was led by Landon Hefner with 15 points and Mason Pitts with 14.

LaBrae 53, Liberty 37 — Angelo Melidona had 16 points and Austin Rowe added 15 for LaBrae. Adam Huynh led LaBrae with 13 points.

Warren G. Harding 47, Canton Central Catholic 31 — Myles Miller scored a game high 25 points, including five 3-pointers for Harding. Xavier Clark added seven for the Raiders.

West Branch 56, Alliance 51 — Jeremiah Thomas led the way with 19 points, two rebounds, two steals, two blocks, and an assist for West Branch. Grady Hirst added 11 points, five assists, and four rebounds. Kasen Weaver scored 10 for the Warriors and Zach Coffee (seven rebounds) and Gavin Gregory (6) were strong on the glass. Gregory also scored eight points.

Austintown Fitch 55, Cardinal Mooney 37 — E.J. Giles led Fitch with 17 points. Brady Evans added 12 points for the Falcons. Dante Turner and Ford Stacy scored 10 each for Mooney.

Southeast 57, Brookfield 45 — Cogen Richardson (22) and Bradley Dillon (21) both scored over 20 points for Southeast. The duo also knocked down four 3-pointers each. Rob Flynn scored 11 and had four steals to lead Brookfield.

Western Reserve 49, Mineral Ridge 29 — Connor Cochran led Reserve with 17 points. John Klasic added 14 points and Jackson Young had eight for the Blue Devils. Thomas Kanowski hit three 3’s for Mineral Ridge.

Grand Valley 78, Cardinal 49 — Carter Turk led the way with 19 points for Grand Valley. Evan Skrtic added 15 and Solomon Schultz had 12 for the Mustangs.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Sebring 28, Waterloo 18 — Raegan Wynn led the way for Sebring with 12 points. Kiera Kemmery added nine to help pace the Sebring offense.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Bristol 67, Windham 41 — Logan Briggs dropped 18 points to lead Bristol to a run away victory. Seth Miller added 17 for the Panthers, and Rylan Gillin also had a strong outing with 15 points. Keegan Kiser scored 12 points to lead Windham.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

East Palestine 33, Lisbon 25 — Jacklyn Ogle scored 14 points, including one 3-pointer for East Palestine (3-5). Lisbon (5-4) was led by Jayden Smith with 12 points. Lylah Brown added seven rebounds, four steals, and two points.
