BOYS BASKETBALL
Badger 81, Lordstown 52 — Tyler McWilliams scored 30 points to lead Badger. The Braves also got double digit scoring from Jack Harnett (19), Alton Winchek (12), and Brody Shay (10). Lordstown was led by Ganon Force with 16 points.
Maplewood 71, Chalker 41 — Lucas Kern scored 16 points to lead Maplewood. Ethan Nevinski and Tyson Webster added 13 points each for the Rockets. Chalker had five different players score six points each including Tanner Kelson, Zach Pack, Tegun Noble, and Lucas Porterfield.
Heartland Christian 80, Salem 69 — Collin Kalaher (24) and Josh Pennington (22) both eclipsed the 20 point mark for Heartland Christian. Isaiah Matthews and Corbin Seutia added 12 each. Salem was led in scoring by Deondray Steele (25) and Jack Andres (21). Ty Manion added 17 points for the Quakers.
Grand Valley 60, Mathews 41 — Solomon Schultz led Grand Valley (4-1) with 17 points. The Mustangs duo of Carter Turk and Evan Skrtic added 11 points each. Mathews was led by Anthony Mirinkovich with 10 points.
Newton Falls 79, Crestview 42 — Newton Falls had four players score in double figures led by Mason Dillon with 17. Dallas Dillon added 16 points and Phil Davis scored 15. The Tigers also got a strong performance from Dallas Dunlap with 11 points. Tyler Savage scored 15 to lead Crestview.
Western Reserve 56, Sebring 7 — Connor Cochran scored 15 to lead Western Reserve. The Blue Devils also had contributions from Nico Paris (13 points) and Josh Klasic (9).
Hubbard 81, South Range 73 OT — Hubbard scored 18 points in overtime to pull away in a tightly contested matchup. Braydon Songer scored 10 of his game high 32 points in the extra period. Jakob Hayes added 17 for the Eagles. Kenyen Franklin also chipped in with 10 points and Dylan Bucher put in 12. Tommy Titus led South Range with 31 points. Tommy Valentine added 17 for the Raiders and Nick Toy added 11.
LaBrae 64, Brookfield 53 — Angelo Melidara knocked down three 3-pointers and scored 25 overall for Labrae. Austin Rowe added three 3’s and 17 overall for the Vikings. Blake Hammond scored 20 to lead Brookfield. Judah Dejoy added 11 for the Warriors.
Bristol 48, Windham 39 — Michael Sponsler led Bristol with 15 points. Scott Miller added 121 and Rylan Gillin also reached double figures with 10 points. Matthew Kolaczek led Windham with 12 points. Keegan Kiser and Dejuan Ramsey had 10 each for the Bombers.
Cornerstone Christian 56, Warren JFK 48 — Darrien Davis led Cornerstone Christian with 19 points. Jalen Clark added 14 and Quan Walker Bay had 10 points. Henry Phillips led JFK with 23 points. Preston Geracitano added 16 for the Eagles.
Columbiana 84, East Palestine 60 — Cooper Brown and Hunter Davanzo both recorded double doubles for Columbiana. Brown had 20 points and 10 rebounds, while Davanzo had 18 points and 16 rebounds. The Clippers also got 20 points from Senator Johnson and 10 from Carter Johnson. R.J. May had 22 points for East Palestine.
Alliance 75, Howland 58 — Kam Burton scored 14 to lead Alliance. Jr Jackson added 13 for the Aviators. Braylon Sears added 11 and the duo of Parker Woods and Samuel Hays added 10 each. Howland was led by Carter Saul with 14 points and Ta-Shawn Fambro with 13. Demetri Gentis added 11 for the Tigers.
Canfield 62, Carrollton 49 — Jace Riccardo led Canfield (5-1) with 19 points. Bryce Roberts added 11 for the Cardinals, while Joseph Gabriel and Grant Seachrist had 10 points each. Tayvian Johnson had 19 points for Carrollton.
Boardman 54, West Branch 49 — Jayse Varley led the way for Boardman with 16 points. Jerry Smith added 14 for the Spartans. West Branch was led by Jeremiah Thomas with 18 points. The Warriors also got 11 points from Grady Hirst and 10 from Gavin Gregory.

Heartland Christian 52, Liberty 35 — Sarah Reynolds scored 25 points to help the Lions to a win. Teammate Kaylin Norbo added 14 points for Heartland Christian. Danelle Coleman led the Leopards with 15 points.
